Clone of eMule for Linux users.
eMule, one of the most used
P2P clients worldwide, has now got a version for
Linux, known as
aMule. This program, prepared to
download from the eDonkey and Kadmelia networks, is distributed under the
GNU/Linux license and has an appearance that is very similar to that of the Windows application on which it is based.
The great advantage of this application isn't its speed, that can't be compared to that of
other networks like Gnutella or BitTorrent, but on the vast amount of files available, among which we will be able to
find from the latest music hits to old version of important programs, for example.
The application's interface will allow us to access, by means of a series of nice icons, to the
six main functions (networks, file search, traffic, shared folders, instant messenger and statistics) of the program with a single click of the mouse.
What's more, so that we can browse and communicate via Internet without any problem while we
download using this client, we will be able to configure the bandwidth that the application uses to our own liking.
Download
aMule and easily
download the files of your choice.
